Beer Foamer by Norm Architects
Beer enthusiasts normally recommend pouring your bottled or canned beer into the glass with a bit of splash to create bubbles. This will create some foam, but with large bubbles and low density. Sadly this will also destroy the precious bubbles in the beer and leave you with boring, flat beer and big-bubbled foam. Not what you want at all. In frustration over this we invented a tool to separate the foaming process from the pouring process. And we achieved what we hoped for: Crisp, bubbly beer and soft, dense foam - just like draft.
The foam is created in the clear shatterproof container. The copper top holds the foaming device itself and has its visual inspiration from the large copper boilers you see at old beer breweries. Pour a ¼” – ½” of beer into the container. Put the top in place and press the button. While you pour the rest of your beer into your glass - gently and carefully in order to keep all those wonderful bubbles in the beer – the foam will rise in the foamer's glass beneath the copper top. Take the top off and gently pour the foam on top of the beer. Enjoy!
